I’m a wife, mom, dog lover, traveler, storyteller, and the person behind Four Dogs & A Brunette. I created this space to document the moments that make up our real life: the funny ones, the messy ones, the meaningful ones, and the ones I never want to forget.
Our home is rarely quiet, almost always covered in dog hair, and full of stories worth telling. Around here, you will find family life, pet adventures, travel inspiration, easy recipes, personal growth, and honest glimpses into the everyday chaos that makes life beautiful.
I do not have it all figured out, and that is kind of the point. This blog is about showing up as we are, making memories along the way, and finding the good in the middle of the mess.

Corey
Husband, dad, and steady hand
Corey is the calm to my chaos, the practical one in the room, and the person who somehow keeps everything moving. He is a devoted husband and dad, a natural problem solver, and the crew member most likely to fix whatever broke.
Hayden
Resident comedian and adventure buddy
Hayden is curious, funny, energetic, and always ready to make life more interesting. He loves his dogs, keeps us laughing, and brings the kind of joy and chaos only a kid can.

The gentle giant
Millie is our Great Dane, blanket burrower, couch hog, and professional counter surfer. She is equal parts elegant and ridiculous, and she has never met a soft spot she did not immediately claim.
Marley
The sweetheart
Marley is our yellow Lab and Hayden’s loyal sidekick. She is gentle, affectionate, and happiest when she is close to her people. She is the steady, loving heart of our pack.
Phoebe
The cautious protector
Phoebe is smart, watchful, anxious around strangers, and deeply devoted once she trusts you. She may take her time warming up, but when she chooses you, she chooses you completely.
Why this blog exists

Four Dogs & A Brunette began as a place to share our life with dogs, but it has grown into something more. It is a scrapbook, a travel journal, a recipe box, a place to be honest, and a reminder that ordinary life is still worth documenting.
